Chandrakanth Chereddi
About me...
I am an engineer by training, but currently back in school to get a business diploma from the Indian School of Business. Prior to this I made a living by engineering software at Google Inc. in Mountain View, CA. Previously, I was a carefree graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's ECE Department. Most of my conscious time was spent in room #459 at the Coorindated Science Lab, as part of the Wireless Networking Group. I was lucky to have a great advisor, Prof. Nitin Vaidya. My graduate research was focused on wireless networking, while also interested in wired networking and systems in general. Prior to this, I was associated with Osmania University, Hyderabad and the University of Hyderabad. My undergraduate research revolved around teaching a computer to recognize printed Telugu characters (with Dr. Atul Negi). During the same period, I enjoyed working in the areas of networking and operating systems (at the LUG).
